There is a legend that Achilles himself used this oil it to stop bleeding on the battlefield, that maybe why one of it's common names is 'Soldier's Woundwort' .
Also it's 'blue colouring' doesn't come naturally from the fresh herb, but is rather an artefact of the steam distillation process.
